POONCH, Aug 12: A total 1574 pilgrims arrived the township of Poonch for the `Darshan’ of Shri Budha Amarnath ji here this evening.
This batch arrived here in the town in 44 vehicles including buses and light motor vehicles from Jammu base camp and other parts of the State including Reasi, Udhampur, Samba and Rajouri . The local administration made the arrangement of their stay in various Sabha Bhawans, ITI complex and Govt Higher Secondary school.
From Bhagwati Nagar base camp at Jammu, 1019 pilgrims in 24 vehicles started in the morning. They were later joined by nearly 455 pilgrims in nearly 20 vehicles. They were received by the Reception Committee comprising members of SD Sabha, Bajrang Dal, VHP and Nodal officer Dr Bhalla in Poonch. They will leave for Shri Budha Amarnath ji shrine at Mandi tomorrow morning.
