AARON McEneff’s pair of first half penalties fired Derry City to a routine win over Finn Harps in Ballybofey tonight.

McEneff netted twice from the spot, both after fouls on Lukas Schubert, as City comfortably dispatched their derby rivals with Nathan Boyle, Schubert and Keith Ward netting in the scond half.

City hit the front in the 18th minute when Ciaran Coll was adjudged to have fouled Schubert, although replays showed the Austrian to have been outside the box at the time.

McEneff tucked the penalty into the bottom corner and did likewise two minutes before the break after Schubert was taken down by Barry Molloy.

Eight minutes into the second half, Boyle steered past Richard Brush from a Dean Jarvis centre.

Schubert scored a breakaway goal after taking a pass from Ward, who then lofted over Brush for the fifth.
