Rs 9 lakh looted from ATM

DHARAMSALA: Thieves struck at the ATM of the Central Bank of India and fled with Rs 9 lakh in Dari area near Dharamsala this morning.

Thieves struck at the ATM of the Central Bank of India and fled with Rs 9 lakh in Dari area near Dharamsala this morning.

Sources here said the thieves looted the ATM located in the busy locality of Dharamsala. They cut the ATM with the gas cutter and took out the cash from it.

Kangra SP Sanjeev Gandhi said we had got some leads from CCTV cameras of the ATM and were trying to locate the thieves. It is for the first time that thieves have managed to loot the entire cash from an ATM in Dharamsala.
