MUMBAI: Provisional merit lists for admissions to the three-year and five-year law programmes were released on Friday almost two months after aspirants took the first-ever law common entrance test (
CET) in the state.
Anushri Kamble from Pune topped the merit list for three-year
LLB with a score of 122/150 in the CET and Pranvi Jain (119) from Mumbai topped the CET for the five-year LLB .
Students who have any grievance over ranks can submit it online till August 15 and the final merit list will be released by the
Directorate of Higher Education on August 16. Students will be given three days to fill their options and the first round of seat allotment will be released on August 23.
Since several students scored same marks, their scores in graduation was considered as the first-level of tie-breaker, followed by
HSC and SSC marks. Ashutosh Paibhale from Mumbai stood second in the merit list for three-year LLB. Yash Shiralkar from Mumbai is second in the list for the five-year course.
