EastEnders Preview Clip: Phil Mitchell Blatantly Lies To Mark Fowler Jr About Telling Him He Has A Secret Father

EastEnders’ Phil Mitchell is to blatantly lie to Mark Fowler Jr. about calling him and telling him he has a secret father.

In a preview clip of Friday night’s episode, which you can see above, the Walford hardman insists he doesn’t know who the student - played by Ned Porteous - is, despite ringing him on Tuesday to inform him about the shock news.

After Mark - whose mother is Michelle Fowler - suggests to Phil (Steve McFadden) that he called him, he looks him in the eyes and says: “Nah, nah I don’t think so.”

Mark perseveres, clearly knowing something is wrong, and Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) intervenes, saying: “There must be some confusion.”

Despite Mark pressing for more information, Phil says: “What are you talking about?

"Why is Michelle’s kid in my house calling me a liar?”

Sharon then says: “What’s he supposed to have said, darling?”

But the doofs doofs ring out before any more interrogating can take place.

Will Mark find out the truth that Phil’s brother Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp) is his father?

What we do know is Grant will be on our screens until September as Ross recently revealed such news, meaning there is plenty of time for Mark to find out the truth.
