Eurozone Q2 GDP Growth Eases As Estimated

Eurozone economic growth eased as initially estimated in the second quarter, flash estimate published by Eurostat showed Friday.

Gross domestic product rose 0.3 percent from the first quarter, when it climbed 0.6 percent. A similar slower growth was last seen in the third quarter of 2015.

On a yearly basis, GDP advanced 1.6 percent after rising 1.7 percent in the first quarter.

The statistical office confirmed the preliminary estimate published on July 29.
