Gang involved in sale of newborns busted in Peshawar
The gang includes several staff nurses and lady doctors.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – A gang involved in selling off newborn babies was busted in Peshawar today (Friday), Dunya News reported.
According to police, several staff nurses and lady doctors at different maternity homes are among the gang members involved in the business of selling babies.
The gang used to sell a baby for Rs300,000 to the couples who are unable to conceive.
Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) revealed that the group has sold nine newborns till now, out of which, an eleven days old baby girl has been recovered so far.
