Spain's consumer prices continued to fall as estimated in July, the final data from the statistical office INE showed Friday.
Consumer prices decreased 0.6 percent year-on-year in July, in line with flash estimate, and slower than the 0.8 percent drop in June.
Prices have remained negative for the seventh consecutive month in July.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices slid 0.7 percent in July after rising for four straight months. In June, prices had gained 0.5 percent. The monthly rate matched flash expectations.
The harmonized index of consumer prices decreased 0.7 percent in July from last year versus an initially estimated fall of 0.6 percent and June's 0.9 percent drop.
Month-on-month, the HICP declined 1.3 percent in July, in line with estimate.
