Man jumps off Dumka hotel, two detained

DUMKA: A 30-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of a hotel at Marwari Chowk on Wednesday night.
Santosh Kumar from Boarijore of Godda district shared a room with two other occupants, Sanjay Bhagat of Mahgama and Ravi Kumar Gupta of Boarojir.
The trio had business connections and police have detained Bhagat and Gupta for investigation.
"We are yet to arrive at any conclusion to ascertain whether the incident was a suicide. The postmortem of has been conducted by a team of doctors and its report may provide a lead in the investigation," DSP Ashok Kumar Singh said.
