A photo exhibition titled Non-Visual Tai Chi is currently held at the Beijing Mall, at Wangfujing street, displaying photos of how the practice of tai chi cheers visually-impaired children.

Photos on show capture the operation of a charity project launched by the Beijing-based China Charities Aid Foundation for Children two years ago, in which volunteers teach tai chi to children with visual impairment in the remote and poverty-stricken areas.

The training of tai chi has improved both physical and mental conditions of these children.

The exhibition runs through Aug 31.
