'Bad Santa 2': Green band trailer reveal

Billy Bob Thornton is back in Bad Santa 2, which releases its very naughty green band trailer exclusively on USA TODAY.

We had the first look of Thornton's return to the role he made famous in 2003's black comedy Bad Santa. This trailer shows that Thornton's Willie Soke is back to safe-cracking, smoking, drinking and dressing up as Santa for a disguise.

This dress-up never goes well, now leading to a fight with a real Santa in a street corner turf dispute. The new trailer shows Soke kicking his formerly jolly foe and beating him with a nativity scene angel...before a full-on Santa brawl ensues.

The trailer gives a good view of Brett Kelly, who starred at age 8 as awkward Thurman in the original. Now 22, Kelly returns as adult Thurman, awkward as ever. Christina Hendricks stars as a good-hearted charity director with a libido that equals Willie's.

Meanwhile, Thornton gives a nice punch to the face greeting to his tough-as-nails crime boss mother, played by Kathy Bates.

Bad Santa 2 opens Nov. 23.
