Goods train derails in Chhattisgarh as Maoists remove fish plates

Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Aug 11 (UNI) Four wagons of an iron ore-laden Kirandul-Vishakhapatnam goods train today derailed near Kaklur station in Bastar district following removal of fishplates by suspected Naxals.
Though no one was hurt in the incident, movement of goods trains and lone passenger train running between Kirandul and Vishakhapatnam had been paralysed, police sources said.
Restoration work was underway amid tight security bandobast. The daily and lone passenger train, which was running upto Jagdalpur for the last 13 days due to observance of Martyrs' week by the rebels,
