Will Nimmi actually abort her child?

Nimmi (Garima Parihar), who is currently residing at her parents’ house after her husband’s death, has got to know that she is pregnant. Shanti (Krutika Desai Khan), her dadi, doesn’t want her to bring this child to this world as she feels it will be a burden on the family. She feels that because Nimmi is a widow, the future of her child is not secure. Also, as it’s her granddaughter’s child, she feels her child is not the actual heir of the family. Inspite of several persuasions from Kaushalya (Nimmi’s mother), Riya (Ekta Kaul) and Shivam (Karam Rajpal) Shanti refuses to change her decision. She is the eldest in the house and hence she feels her decision is final. She has asked Kaushalya (Suchita Trivedi) to convince Nimmi to abort the child. Kaushalya desperately wanted to keep her daughter’s child but as Dadiji has announced her verdict she has raised her hands and lost all hopes. Dadi wants Riya and Shivam to produce a child. As Shivam is her grandson, she considers only his child as her family’s heir. In the coming episodes, Dadi will force Riya to give them a child. For all that we know, this will become the point of yet another tussle between Shanti and Riya. Riya is an educated and forward girl and hence wants to focus on her career at the moment. Dadi is making Kaushalya do all kinds of fasts and poojas to ensure that a child comes in the family soon. Will Riya give in to Dadiji’s demands? Will she leave her career for a child ?
