10 Things to Know About Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Launched at Rs. 59,990
As promised, Samsung has launched its much-awaited flagship smartphone -- Galaxy Note 7 in India with Dual pixel rear camera. Priced at Rs. 59,990, this smartphone comes in Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium, and Black Onyx color variant.
Initially, this flagship was announced at the Galaxy Unpacked 2016 event in New York, a few days back. Talking about the design, this smartphone comes with a blend of 3D glass and metal design.

The Galaxy Note 7 comes also has IP86 ratings -- water and dust resistance, including the S-Pen. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note 7 is water resistant body and has got IP68 certification, which means the phone can survive in water up to 5 ft deep for 30 minutes.
This time, the company has added more security feature to the device by adding an Iris scanner, apart from fingerprint recognition sensor. Now, the Galaxy Note 7 users can unlock the phone using eye recognition as well.

Further, the improved S-Pen comes with 0.7mm tip and improved pressure sensitivity as well. It brings the ability to write on the Note 7 under water too. Notably, the phablet will be water and dust resistant even when the S Pen is removed from its slot. It has enhanced pressure sensitivity that gives a real pen-like experience.
Super AMOLED display with 518ppi!
Moving on, the Galaxy Note 7 comes with 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED curved dual edge display with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels translating to a remarkable 518 ppi. It can also be used with the Gear 360 to create, edit, and share 360-degree videos. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 that is the latest one with a higher level of protection.
Not Snapdragon 820, it's Exynos 8890 SoC in India!
In India, the Galaxy Note 7 is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 8890 (2.3GHz Quad + 1.6GHz Quad), processor. This hybrid dual SIM slot mobile comes equipped with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB inbuilt memory with an expandable option of up to 256GB via MicroSD card slot.
12MP camera with f/1.7 aperture is indeed amazing!
Coming to the imaging factor, this biggie flaunts a 12MP rear camera with LED flash, dual-pixel PDAF, Smart OIS and F/1.7 aperture. On the front, this smartphone is backed with 5MP selfie camera f/1.7 aperture. This f/1.7 aperture indeed helps to absorb more light inside, resulting in an amazing photo during low light conditions.
Upgradeable to Android 7.0 Nougat!
On the software front, the Galaxy Note 7 runs on Android Marshmallow topped with the new and revamped TouchWiz UI. The device will undoubtedly receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update too. The interface has received many changes that are quite significant.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is the first smartphone under Galaxy line up to equip Iris scanner. The iris scanning technology will authenticate users to make secure purchases using Samsung Pay and other apps. It also comes with a Secure Folder that will add authentication to ensure the privacy of sensitive details.
