NLSIU Bangalore 2002 graduate Bhavin Patel has joined as an of counsel in Mumbai the law firm Aureus Law Partners, which was started in 2013 by former HSA Advocates partner Abhishek Dutta (paywall link) and senior associate Rashmi Chaudhury, reported Bar & Bench.

Patel was working at legal market education company Rainmaker between 2006 and 2012, and according to his Facebook page became an independent business consultant and an actor, joining Adishakti Theatre between 2014 and 2015 in Pondicherry.

Before that he was working at ITC Limited and DSK Legal, according to Bar & Bench.

We have reached out to Patel and Aureus for comment.

In March of this year, Aureus had hired Viineet V Srivastav as a partner in Mumbai, according to Bar & Bench (paywalled link).

According to its website, Aureus consists of four partners - Dutta, Niki Kantawala, Rashmi Chaudhury and Srivastav.
