Children’s event

Pretend City Children’s Museum, 29 Hubble, Irvine, will host its seventh annual “When I Grow Up Day!” with Orange County professionals explaining careers in the community from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature a fire truck, police motorcycle, CHOC ambulance, sports car and dump truck. Exhibition

Orange County Museum of Art, 850 San Clemente Drive, Newport Beach, presents, “American Mosaic: Picturing Modern Art Through the Eye of Duncan Phillips” with 65 works created between the 1860s and 19602 by artists such as Edward Hopper, Winslow Homer and Georgia O’Keeffe.
