KATHMANDU: Five persons were injured in a tractor accident at Sahu Tole in Sharada Municipality of Salyan district on Wednesday.

Among the injured, three are said to be in critical condition.

They have been identified as Bikash Nepali (19), Ganesh Thapa (36) and Ged Lal Nepali (38) of the Sharada Municipality, according to the District Police Office, Salyan.

Police said that the incident occured when the driver lost control of the vehicle (Ra 1 Ta 436) at around 7 pm yesterday.

All the injured are receiving treatment at the District Hospital, Khalanga.

Police said that they are searching for the tractor driver who fled the scene after the incident.
