I-Day fervour in MNNIT

Allahabad: The fortnight-long Independence Day celebrations kicked off with 'Azadi Ke 70 Saal -Yaad Karo Kurban' event at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad (MNNIT). The event was held at the seminar hall of the university by the student activity centre of the institute.
Officiating director of the institute, Prof SK Duggalthe, inaugurated the event.Prof Duggal said that ministry of HRD has decided to hold I-Day celebrations from August 9 to 23. He said that students should not celebrate the occasion like a festival. On the occasion, poet Dr Shailesh Gautam mesmerized the participants by singing patriotic songs.
