Indore: The first passenger train on the newly constructed Q-track between Ratlam-Dhoswas railway stations is likely to be flagged off from Indore in October first week.
"The division has sent a proposal to the railway ministry to extend the route of train no. 19653-54 from Ratlam to Indore. Earlier this train pair was to be operated between Ratlam and Ajmer," the official said If the proposal is approved, the first train would be flagged off from Indore in October.
The division would also have to take clearance from Indian Railway Time Table Committee (IRTTC) for the change of timings in order to operate the train from Indore. Every year, Railways introduce changes in timings during October. Considering the fact, officials with Ratlam Divison are hopeful that the proposal would get a positive result.
