Apprising Governor Acharya Devvrat of the inauguration of incomplete development scheme by the state Health Minister Kaul Singh Thakur and Chief Parliamentary Secretary Rohit Thakur in Jubbal-Kotkhai, former horticulture minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Bragta today demanded investigation into the matter.
Submitting a memorandum to the Governor, he said an investigation team should be constituted in which representatives of all political parties should be included. After inspecting the spot a report should be submitted so that the truth comes out.
Bragta said the health minister, who visited Jubbal Kotkhai recently, did not even bother to see the condition of the Theog-Hatkoti road and bypassed it. He said the Congress government was taking the general public for a ride by inaugurating incomplete development schemes.
He said the Rs 1.30 crore FRU Hospital sanctioned during the previous BJP government to house specialists of medicine, surgery and ortho besides facilities of blood unit, city scan and ultra sound but the minister and the CPS chose to inaugurate the incomplete building without these facilities.
He alleged that the Primary Health Centre (PHC) was inaugurated by the heath minister in Mandol village in Jubbal without proper arrangements. He kept the foundation stone of the building of the PHC in Ramnagar village in Kotkhai without identifying land and other clearances.
