Justin Bobby blasts ‘f–king twisted’ Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad may have been portrayed as America’s sweetheart on “The Hills,” but co-star Justin “Justin Bobby” Brescia never saw it that way.

“She wasn’t the most down-to-earth,” the 34-year-old hairstylist revealed in an interview with Broadly.

Conrad, 30, who got her start on reality TV with MTV’s “Laguna Beach” at the age of 18, moved to “The Hills” full-time in 2006. While Brescia didn’t join the cast until Season 3, he felt Conrad’s early rise to stardom was to blame for her diva-like attitude.

“You get a young girl like that, who has been on TV since she was 18, and her whole life’s exposed — how do you get an actual normal person at that point? You don’t get someone who’s down-to-earth and someone who’s loving and caring. You get someone who’s f–king twisted,” he said.

As for Conrad’s on-screen nemeses, Heidi Montag, 30, and Spencer Pratt, 32, Brescia is on Team Speidi.

“I really liked them a lot,” Brescia shared of the pair. “I liked that their love stayed true — I mean they had so much [ridicule] for doing what they’re doing, and they’re still together, and they’re still staying, ‘F–k you.’ That to me is like, ‘You guys won all the way around.'”

Though “The Hills” wrapped in Los Angeles six years ago, Brescia revealed his experience on the show left a lasting impression.

“Even now, I’ll drive around and memories will pop up,” he said.
