Fursan has opened its Flagship Boutique at La Croisette18, Parcel 10, Porto Arabia, The Pearl-Qatar. The brand of luxury handbags, designed in celebration of the tradition of Dazzah, is the brainchild of Ibrahim al Haidos, its founder and creative director.
"I have always had a romantic relationship with commerce and entrepreneurship. Combining my interest in leather goods and fashion, I seek to put Qatar on the luxury fashion map and make it a major destination for luxury brands," said Haidos when asked what motivated him to launch the brand."I want to give customers the true experience of extravagance by treating them as honoured guests when they enter our boutique."
At the grand opening of the boutique, guests were treated to customised hors d'oeuvres prepared from Marsa Malaz Kempenski, portrait sketches by Los Angeles artist Jeanette Getrost, decadent art chocolate specially crafted for Fursan by artisian chocolatier Alice Bentely and a mix of Arabic and Western music. VIPs, TV personalities, actresses, newspaper editors, fashion and web bloggers were among the guests at the event.
