Women, minor daughters found dead

Dindigul: Three members of a family hailing from Vadamathur, near Erumaipatti, in Namakkal district died after consuming poison at a hotel in Kodaikanal town on Tuesday. The deceased were identified as Kausalya, 32, wife of Subramani, and her daughters Janani, 14, and Iniya, 12. Subramani is undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
Employees of the hotel called in the police after the occupants of the room failed to respond to their calls.A police team broke open the door to find the four struggling for life. Though they were rushed to a hospital, the woman and daughters were declared dead.
