Property dealer's wife found murdered

Jaipur: A 35-year-old woman was murdered after some unidentified assailant slit her throat inside her house under Kanota Police Station area of the city on Tuesday.
According to the police, Roshini, wife of a city-based property dealer, was in her house when she was murdered. "Her 14-year-old son on returning from school found his mother lying in a pool of blood.He immediately informed his father about the incident who called the police," police said.
According to the police, Roshini's throat was slit by a sharp-edged weapon. "Preliminary investigation revealed that it was not a murder for any gain. We cannot rule out the possibility of some jilted lover carrying out the crime," the police said.
Roshini's husband, Rajendra told police that he was not at home when the crime took place.
"There are several important clues that we have gathered in the case. There is trail of evidence that the criminal has left behind and we will nab the accused very soon," a police official said.
Police have handed over the body of the deceased to the family members after conducting post-mortem.
