JAMMU, Aug 9: Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Ferozpur Division has clarified that he did not make any statement denying proposal to carve out a separate Jammu division, out of Ferozpur Railway Division.
In response to the media reports quoting him, published in today’s newspapers, DRM Anuj Prakash has said that he didn’t make any such statement. “Separate Railway Division for Jammu has already been announced by the Railway Minister in 2014 and further orders are awaited for next action while Upper DRM was appointed in Jammu last year,” says the clarification, issued here today.
