Late wrestler-turned-actor Dara Singh’s autobiography Meri Atma Katha has been translated in English, says his son Vindu, who hopes it inspires sportspersons in the country.

“Dad’s biography has now also been written in English and will be released very shortly,” Vindu said in a statement.

Vindu says the “book will reveal hidden facets of my dad Daraji” and that it is being read by students in some schools of Haryana.

“The book on Daraji is being read by many children. I am confident that people will be inspired tremendously by Daraji’s life and I hope we will get a champion like Daraji in our country who will succeed in raising the bar of sports in the country and bring pride to the entire nation,” he added. — IANS
