Ajay Devgn and his Shivaay team paid a visit to the jawans at Attari border just before the Independence Day weekend, as the jawans celebrated. Singers Sukhwinder Singh, Mohit Chauhan and musician Mithoon, set the mood by belting out songs.

The Action Jackson actor along with his leading lady Sayisha Saigal were seen exchanging laughs and encouraging the jawaans. Devgn even said some of the film's dialogues out loud, much to the amusement of the jawaans. Thick into conversation, Ajay Devgn mentioned to the soldiers that Ataari happened to be his father's place of birth.

Talking about his father, Devgn was overcome by emotion ever so slightly. However, he brushed it off and said he was happy to visit the place where he is rooted.
