Karnataka has offered to partner with Indian Railways to offer bachelor degree course in railway engineering.
Karnataka minister for higher education Basavaraja Raya Reddy, who called on the Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu, urged the railway minister to consider the state’s offer as a joint venture initiative.
Karnataka principle secretary Bharat Lal Meena, Member of Parliament Shivkumar Udasi, former MP Prof I G Sanadi accompanied the Reddy.
