Accountancy firm Larking Gowen has added to its corporate finance team with the appointment of Kate Baines as corporate finance manager.
Bained (pictured) has joined Larking Gowen from Ensors in Ipswich. Prior to that she spent more than eight years as a senior broker at Axis Partnership as head of healthcare, specialising in the sale of SMEs within healthcare, property management and commercial cleaning.
Baines' primary focus will be helping clients buy and sell private businesses. She is based at Larking Gowen's office in Ipswich.
James Lay, corporate finance partner, said: "These are exciting times for Larking Gowen's corporate finance team. Kate brings a different and varied skill set as a specialist negotiator and project manager.
"This complements an already strong and growing team, enabling us to expand our service offering across the region."
The Larking Gowen corporate finance team recently topped the East of England league table for the second quarter this year, advising on the highest number of clients on merger and acquisition transactions.
