The Education Department has created “Grievance for Transfers 2016” on its Sugam Sampark portal, where teachers aggrieved by the online transfer policy can submit their grievances.

Additional Chief Secretary (School Education) PK Das told The Tribune, “Teachers may submit their grievances online by visiting the Sugam Sampark portal on the department’s website www.schooleducationharyana.gov.in. We will, in due course, intimate the decision of the department to the employee concerned.”

He said the aggrieved teachers could send a representation to the competent authority within 15 days of the issuance of orders after joining at the new place of posting. Their representation would be considered in accordance with the policy.

The School Education Department had issued transfer orders of over 10,000 post graduate teachers (PGT) through online process on Saturday.

The orders appeared on the department’s website today. They have also been uploaded on the personal profiles of the teachers concerned.

The department had asked the teachers to join their new places of posting immediately.

While many got stations of their choice, several others alleged they had been left high and dry in the transfer process.

Teachers alleged they were not able to upload their choice of station due to system errors, whereas in some cases, the stations vacant were not shown as such. They said some teachers had been transferred to far off places and even out of the district without their consent.
