Ying-Ying Duan overcame sixth seed Vania King to win her first WTA title at the Jiangxi Open in China.

The 27-year-old recovered from a slow start to claim a 1-6 6-4 6-2 success.

Down a set and a break, Duan immediately broke back and saved another six break points before levelling the match.

Duan drew first blood in the decider and controlled the set, serving it out to love to seal victory.

"Winning this title has boosted my confidence a lot. I hope to keep up the form and play well at the US Open," Duan told the WTA website.
