From Kedarnath to Rameswaram: These 7 Ancient Shiva temples fall in a straight line!

Some of the most famous and revered Lord Shiva temples in India exist from time immemorial, and they were built at a time when there was no satellite and technology, forget instruments that could measure the exact longitude and latitude.

But, somehow each of these seven temples are accurately aligned in a geographic straight line of- 79° E 41’54” Longitude.

Beginning at Kedarnath and ending at Rameswaram, these Shiva temples were back then, built using the yogic calculations.

Five of these seven temples have Shiva Linga, represented as the manifestation of five basic elements of nature: Temple of water is in Thiruvanaikaval, temple of fire is in Thiruvannamalai , temple of air is in Kalahasti , temple of earth is in Kanchipuram and the temple for space/sky is in Chidambaram.
