Ranveer Singh to star in Shimit Amin's comeback film!

Ranveer is hot property with as many as three directors - Shaadi Ali, Aditya Chopra and now Shimit Amin, having made their directorial comebacks with the in-demand actor. 

It all began with Shaad, who took a six-year hiatus, returning with Kill Dil in 2013, starring Ranveer, Ali Zafar and Parineeti Chopra. Now, Adi, seven years after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, is set for a return with Befikre, which has the actor opposite Vaani Kapoor. Amin is set to return to the screen after seven years with an as-yet untitled project for YRF.

A source close to the actor explains the developments, “Ranveer is on a movie signing spree, obviously. This will be his third after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati and Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy. The shooting for Amin’s next is expected to begin as soon as he completes Zoya’s film.” The leading lady is yet to be finalised and the makers are targeting a 2017 release.

Ranveer, busy between brand endorsements and prepping for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati, scheduled to hit floors next month, remained unavailable for comment.
