Sex racket busted at two spas, seven held

RAJKOT: City police busted a high-profile sex racket operating from two spas on the 150-feet Ring Road on Sunday. On getting information about the immoral activities, police sent some of its men as customers to Humming Bird and Blue Moon spas. A female manager at Humming Bird Spa told them that they charge Rs 2,500 for massage and up to Rs 10,000 if the customer wanted to 'spend private moments' with the women employed there.
Police also found that the spas had employed 10 girls from Malaysia and Assam.They were paid a monthly salary of Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000. B T Vadhia, sub-inspector, Taluka police station said they have arrested Chandresh Lunagariya, Vishal Radia and the female manager Nitu Chauhan of Humming Bird Spa as well as Bharat Vasani, Sachin Maniyar, Himmat Bhalodi and Paras Kamani of the Blue Moon Spa.
The sex racket was going on for the last two months, said police, adding that they let the 10 girls go.
