Army man dies of cardiac arrest

A soldier died due to cardiac arrest in Gambhir sector of Rajouri on Saturday.

Naik Jai Singh Gujjar, hailing from Alwar in Rajasthan, was posted at the Hazura post. Around 4 am on Saturday, he developed uneasiness and was taken to the unit medical centre. The regiment medical officer declared the jawan brought dead.

After post-mortem and legal formalities, the police handed over the body to unit officers. It was sent to the jawan’s native town in the evening.
