Gone are the days when the paparazzi snapped unseen pictures of actor’s children, now actors’ babies debut on social media courtesy their parents
Recently Rani Mukerji’s and Aditya Chopra’s baby pictures surfaced on social media from her account. While her spokesperson sent out a press release saying that the account was fake, it is largely believed that the photograph was of Adira Chopra. Most parents are superstitious about giving out their children’s photographs. Mostly, it is a privacy issue but for some it has to do with protecting the little one from an evil eye. But fans are always eager to see pictures that give them a sneak peek into the celebrity world. So, often the pictures appear before the parents intend them to be out there. While other parents tend to put out their baby pictures as soon as the tots are out in the world. Here’s taking a look at how long fans had to wait for that exclusive celeb baby picture.
The Deshmukhs

Riteish Deshmukh and wife Genelia shared pictures of their first born baby Riaan on social media six months after Riaan was born.The picture showed Riteish cuddling his six-month old baby while wife Genelia D’Souza hugs the actor from behind and kisses him. Two months after the birth of their second son Rahyl, they formally introduced the world to their latest bundle of joy. Genelia took to Instagram to share a picture of her newborn son Rahyl with the caption ‘Special somethings’. The face of the baby is not seen in the picture.
Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma
Wait time: Two hours
An excited first-time parent Aayush could not wait to share pictures of his new born baby with the world. The result — he could not wait and shared a photo from the hospital bed, to announce the arrival of their son Ahil. “Our wait is over. Our little prince Ahil has arrived. Love Arpita and Aayush. PS: mother and son are doing fine,” the post on Instagram read.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan

AbRam, who was born through surrogacy on May 27, 2013, made his first big screen appearance in the end credits of Farah Khan-directed Happy New Year, which released on October 24,2013. Since then we have seen other cute pictures all thanks to social media.

Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra had their first child Viaan in May 2012, and it was the paparazzi who managed to get a shot of Shilpa with her son during one of the IPL matches back in April 2013.

While no one really is sure if the alleged pictures of Rani and Aditya Chopra’s baby girl Adira, which went viral last month were part of an elaborate hoax or not, there was a statement issued from the actress’ side, which stated that there are many fake accounts that keep cropping up in the name of the Mardaani actress. “This is to inform you that Rani Mukerji is not on any social media platform and has never been. There are several fake accounts that keep cropping up. We would like to request you to not pay any heed to them or the content they put up as it is all fake,” Rani’s spokesperson said in a statement. The couple welcomed their first daughter in December 2015.
