When an Indian Television serial says that all its characters are fictional, they mean it!

I say this because it’s not practically possible to have these characters in real life. If our TV shows including the popular Kumkum Bhagya, Balika Vadhu or Sasural Simar Ka were sent for Guiness World Records, I am sure they would have earned the below titles. Time leaps are the most convenient and the most effortless instruments of progression that TV soaps use. Believe me, we would have been fine with it if they would have atleast took the effort of adjusting characters’ ages with it! Dadisa (Surekha Sikri) from Ballika Vadhu and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’s Baa were alive for 250 years and I’m sure they would have lived more if the shows wouldn’t have shut! Aah! This one’s my favourite. And I guess it’s the serial makers’ favourite too. Actually I don’t blame them. Our serials go on for five six years. What do you expect? It’s impossible for a human being to come up with new twists everyday! So when in doubt, get the lead of your serial almost killed. Then declare that he/she survived but has lost memory. Cool, isn’t it? I am so jealous of their innovative mind.
