More rains to hit Saurashtra, Kutch

Rajkot: The weather department has forecast light to moderate rains at many places across the Saurashtra, Kutch and other parts of the state in the next two days. However, heavy to very heavy rains are likely at isolated places in Saurahstra and Kucth regions during the same period. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) the off shore trough has extended from south Gujarat coast to south Maharashtra coast.The upper air cyclonic circulation over north-west Madhya Pradesh and neighbourhood extending has merged with the monsoon trough, bringing rain to many parts of Gujarat.
