Assistant city planner held with Rs 10 crore DA

HYDERABAD: ACB sleuths conducted simultaneous searches on GHMC assistant city planner (ACP) A Santosh Venu's houses on Friday and unearthed disproportionate assets (DA) worth Rs 10 crore.
During the searches at the residences of Santosh Venu, his relatives and associates' houses, ACB unearthed a 3BHK house and seven flats at Narayanaguda, a G+3 house at DD colony, a G+3 house at Gudi Malkapur, a flat at Himayathnagar, a flat at Erragadda, a Maruti Swift Dzire car, a Maruti SX4 car, a Suzuki Access scooter, Rs 3.5 lakh cash, 70 tolas gold, Rs 10.5 lakh worth household articles and Rs 4 lakh bank balance.

The accused official has been arrested and will be produced before the ACB court.
