M. Suman (28) of Erachakulam in Kanniyakumari district was detained under the Goondas Act. Many cases of theft and assault cases were pending against him in Boothapandi Police Station.
Based on the recommendations of the Superintendent of Police G. Dharmarajan, District Collector Sajjansingh R. Chavan issued an order for detention under the Goondas Act.
