516 ticketless railway passengers nabbed

Sonepat: A team led by the Railway Magistrate nabbed as many as 516 ticketless passengers at the railway station here today. The team recovered penalty amount of Rs 3.24 lakh from them. Nine passengers who could not pay the penalty were sent into judicial custoday. Personnel from the GRP and the RPF were deployed at the station before the raid. —OC
