112th birth anniversary of Chennai’s first mayor observed

CHENNAI: Chettinad Charitable Trust on Friday observed the 112th birth anniversary of educationist and banker M A Muthiah Chettiar, who was the first mayor of Chennai.
The statue and portrait of M A Muthiah Chettiar were garlanded by Chettinad Charitable Trust managing trustee M A M Ramaswamy Chettiar, industrialist A C Muthiah and others.
