The private residence of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles—Clarence House—is opening to the public for one month only. Fans of the royal family can now sign up for a one-hour guided tour that begins in the garden and extends to five rooms–The Library, The Dining Room, The Lancaster Room, The Morning Room and The Garden Room.

The arrangement and contents of all rooms including works of arts and furniture have been preserved as they were from the time of The Queen Mother (Prince Charles' grandmother, Queen Elizabeth). During the tour, you will get a chance to see famous 20th century paintings and works by John Piper, Graham Sutherland, WS Sickert and Augustus John. In true royal style, there's lots of English porcelain and silver on display, particularly pieces relating to the Bowes-Lyon family.

While tickets for the tour cost £10, there's also an exclusive tour for die-hard fans for £35 that includes access 22 watercolours painted by none other than Prince Charles himself, that are hanging in the Cornwall Room.  There's also a cup of tea glass of champagne thrown into the tour, for those looking to toast to the occasion.

Open till August 31, from 10am-4pm. Details  here .
