Olympians can wear this suit to fight the Zika threat

Olympians bugging out about Zika now have another way to repel the sinister skeeters – a head-to-toe net that would probably also scare off other humans.

The Japanese-made net — which looks like a cross between a condom and a hazmat suit — was originally designed to reduce the chances of catching dengue fever, which also is spread through mosquito bites, the Daily Mail reported.

Like a portable version of tent-like screens seen in the athletes’ quarters in Rio de Janeiro, the net works by creating a barrier between pesky mosquitoes and your body.

The average size of mosquitoes is between 2 and 5 millimeters, while the holes in the nets are only a millimeter wide, according to Bibilab, which designed the outfit.

For an added measure of safety, insect repellent may be sprayed onto the suit, rendering you not only comical but also reeking of chemicals.

And when nature calls, the suit features strategically positioned zippers to allow you to do your business.

The net – which is available in blue, pink and white – costs about $60.
