Parents lodge complaint against principal

HYDERABAD: Parents of an intermediate first year student lodged a complaint with Saidabad police on Tuesday alleging that their daughter was hit on the head with an attendance register by the college principal. According to Saidabad inspector K Sattaiah, 17, is a student of Sangam Laxmibai Junior College for Girls in Saidabad.
On Monday, the woman principal of the college has hit the student on the head with an attendance register for bringing cellphone to the college.
"The college administration has asked the students to not bring cellphones to the campus. We have made a general diary entry of the complaint and began an enquiry," the inspector said.
