The San Francisco Giants traded infielder Matt Duffy to the Tampa Bay Rays. While that means, Duffy will be headed to Florida, he said his cat Skeeter won’t be joining him.
It’s too hot for Duffy’s cat buddy.
Hopefully the cat’s Instagram profile — that has more than 14,000 followers — will keep going because fans love Skeeter. Even the Rays were excited to welcome him.
They had T-shirts!!!
But if Skeeter would be happier with Duffy’s parents, then so be it. Do whatever is best for Mr. Skeeter.
Duffy tweeted that he’s excited for the next chapter of his career after spending three seasons with the Giants.
I’m sure he’ll visit Skeeter when he has the time.
