34 four years ago, on the sets of Coolie, India almost lost it's biggest superstar because of a mistimed jump. Amitabh Bachchan was shooting the climax action sequence with Puneet Issar and they were pretending to trade blows, when an ill-timed jump caused the superstar to get near-fatally injured.

The TE3N actor was hospitalised, and was in a critical condition for over a week as a whole nation went to places of worship, to pray for the superstar. Eventually, the superstar did rise, and fans all over the country were overjoyed. This comeback is referred to the superstar's rebirth.
