Toyota Most Likely To Launch Etios Facelift In India By Festive Season
Toyota is most likely to provide a cosmetic update to its Etios compact sedan. Facelifted Toyota Etios is most likely to be launched in the Indian market sometime before the festive season. Recently a heavily camouflaged Toyota Etios was caught testing on Indian roads.
Etios compact sedan will receive several design updates to the exterior. Toyota is most likely to provide similar updates that were provided to the Etios model offered in Brazil. Interior of 2016 Toyota Etios will also be updated for a premium and upmarket feel.
Exterior of 2016 Etios will get redesigned front and rear bumpers. An all-new V-shaped grille, fog lamp enclosure, and wider air intakes will be included. Tail lights will also be updated for a sportier looking rear end with added chrome embellishment for the Indian market.
Interior will witness all-new upholstery, three-spoke steering wheel, digital instrument console, and touchscreen infotainment system. Toyota Motors India expect that all the updates will attract buyers once again. Most of the updates will be similar to that seen on the Brazilian-spec Etios.
Under the hood of 2016 Toyota Etios, no changes will be made. The Etios compact sedan will continue to be powered by a 1.4-litre diesel and 1.5-litre petrol engine. Both engines are mated to 5-speed manual transmissions. Expect the 2016 Toyota Etios to be priced higher than existing model.
