An American, arrested on anti-terrorism charges at an airport here after Pakistani authorities recovered 15 bullets and a pistol clip from his possession, has been identified as an FBI agent.
AHMEDABAD: A 26-year-old youth was nabbed by Navrangpura police for alleged cheating. Amit Gaekwad, working as a fraud control manager with Bajaj Finance, informed the police about a youth who was trying to get a loan on forged identity documents on July 30.
According to Gaekwad's complaint, a youth named Imran Ansari had approached an electronics store at 3rd Eye mall on CG Road and after selecting an LED television, had asked the executive for the loan options.
"He submitted two documents to the representatives that had different details on him.
The representative got suspicious and called up Gaekwad who verified the credentials online and found that the Aadhar Card submitted was fake," said a Navrangpura police official.
