Seminar held
A seminar on ‘Seventh Pay Commission recommendations – joint struggles, its impact – government attitude’ was organised by the Defence Coordination Committee and the Central Government Employees and Workers Coordination Committee on Sunday.
Its secretary General M. Krishnan and All India Defence Employees Federation (AIDEF) joint secretary G.T. Gopala Rao told the participants that the proposed all-India strike on July 11 was only deferred in view of the assurance given by the government.
